Fall Schedule
Here is the Aventura Writing Group's schedule for September - December, 2007.
September 8th - critique meeting.
Read your work in progress to the group or give your feedback to the others.
September 22 - presentation.
Mary Greenwood, J.D., LL.M: Arbitrator, Mediator, Author of How to Negotiate like a Pro, 41 Rules for Resolving Disputes and a member of Aventura Writing Group, will make a presentation. Mary's book won the following awards: Best How To Book, DIY Book Festival, Finalist ForeWard Magazine, Self Help Category Runnerup, New York Book Festival, E-book and Self-Help Category. October 13 - presentation.
John Gorman, author of the epic novel King of the Romans, will talk about e-publishing. His knowledge of e-publishing springs from the successful publication of his novel by Awe-Struck Ebooks. John is presently retired from three decades of freelance journalism with publications in outlets ranging from Travel & Leisure to Street News.
November - no meetings due to the FWA Conference & Thanksgiving.
December 8 - presentation by Sara Williams, novelist. Topic TBD.
Sara Williams is a former magazine and newspaper journalist and columnist, now the ArcheBooks bestselling author of two novels, The Don Juan Con and The Serenoa Scandal.
December 22 - no meeting. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
